Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim stresses that the International Coalition must Play a Bigger Role in Facing ISIS.
Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, Head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, stresses on the need of the International Coalition to play a bigger role in the face of ISIS. He warned again from the growing terrorism and its negative impact on the world if it wasn't dealt with. His Eminence called the world to face ISIS before they have to face it on their own lands, calling the Russians to face ISIS on all the countries, considering the presence of Russia better than its absence.This came when His Eminence received John Allen the coordinator of the International Coalition and the US Ambassador Stuart Jones at his office in Baghdad on Friday 9/10/2015.Sayyid al-Hakim stressed on the importance of applying the international laws while facing terrorism, to cut off its finance, its supply, and to face the mentality of ISIS. He noted that the Iraqi forces are capable of defeating ISIS and it proved more than once that ISIS can't stand in front it's real fight and it resort to bombings and car bombs.For his part, Ben Allen and his accompanying delegation expressed that there is a fear from the intersection between the international coalition forces and the Russian role, and that the international coalition is serious about eliminating ISIS.
