Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Receives Swedish Ambassador and Discusses with her the Situation of Refugees

Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, discussed with the Swedish ambassador to Iraq, Annika Molin Hellgren, Iraqi refugees situation and the ease of their burden, during his meeting with Her Excellency in his office in Baghdad on Monday November 9th, 2015.
\r\nHis Eminence stressed on supporting Iraqi refugees in European countries and taking care of them, indicating to Swedish ambassador that Iraqi refugees are guests and they will return rapidly to their country once its security and economic situation becomes better and this is what has been proved by the experience. The instinct of Iraqi people is full of nostalgia to their country and their homeland.
\r\nMoreover, His Eminence discussed with Swedish ambassador the relations between both countries, the ways to develop them, and the contribution of a country like Sweden in the reconstruction of Iraq and the areas liberated from ISIS, telling that the international community should assume the responsibilities towards fighting ISIS as it is a threat to all.
