    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Discusses with Iraq’s Ambassador in Washington the Role of Iraqi Diplomacy in Bringing Facts

    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, urged the need for Iraqi diplomacy to have a greater role in transferring the facts of Iraqi reality and in removing suspicions such as the accusations that target Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces.

    This came during His Eminence meeting with Iraq’s ambassador in Washington, Lukman Faili, in his office in Baghdad on Wednesday November 11th, 2015.

    Al-Hakim also called upon the diplomacy to make greater efforts in order to contact civil society organizations, media, and soft powers, which contribute in making the political decision, as well as to contact Iraqi communities, meet their needs, and help those who are willing to voluntarily return to their homeland.
