    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, received in his office in Baghdad the delegation of Bani Hassan Emirate tribes on Monday November 17th, 2015.

His Eminence praised the role of the tribes in protecting Iraqi national project, achieving national reconciliation, and mobilizing their people in Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units.

In addition, Al-Hakim referred to the economic situation, indicating that Iraq is going through a financial hardship as a result of lower global oil prices, which requires finding alternatives to oil, diversifying the sources of income, and ending the phenomenon of the rentier state.
\r\n
Further to the reform project, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim indicated that reform needs to be serious, radical, inclusive, balanced, and in conformity with the law and the constitution, reiterating the need to prioritize the fight against ISIS and land liberation.
