    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Discusses with Iranian Ambassador the Developments of Political and Security Situations in the Region

        Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, received at his office in Baghdad the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hassan Danaeifar on Sunday December 6th, 2015.
    \r\n
    His Eminence discussed with Danaeifar the developments of security and political situations in the region, as well as the bilateral relations between both countries and peoples, praising all the efforts that have contributed to the success of Ziyarat al-Arbaeen that involved millions of people.
    \r\n
        Moreover, His Eminence expressed his delight at the efforts made by the Popular Mobilization Units and the security forces in order to liberate the cities from ISIS terrorist gangs, reminding that the Islamic Republic was one of the first supporters of Iraq in confronting terrorism when Baghdad was threatened to fall into the hands of these terrorist gangs.

        Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim reiterated that Iraq has its sufficient number of men in confronting terrorism and does not need any forces to act on behalf of it in the fateful confrontation with terrorism, noting that the facts on the ground have proved the efficiency of Iraqis in all their constituents in confronting ISIS terrorism and grabbing regions that were refractory and that formed an important stronghold for terrorism such as Hamrin, Baiji, and Tharthar.
