    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim called for Iraqi businessmen to adopt development projects that serve the citizen and drive the economy

    Chairman Supreme Islamic Council in Iraq (SICI) called on Iraqi businessmen to adopt development projects to serve the citizen and drive economy, noting that the societal need for these projects such as housing and construction of hospitals will make a certain profitable projects.

    His eminence between during a meeting with businessmen in Basra Saturday, 27 February 2016, indicated that the Iraq is suffering from a financial crisis, but Iraq is not a bankrupt country but only lacks liquidity, stressing that market economy experience is one of the successful experiences that have contributed to the renaissance of nations and there are many examples, calling on men business to grab their roles and not wait who give them their roles.

    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim stressed on the importance of iraqi businessmen communicating with the legislative authority to coordinate efforts to pass laws that enable funds assets to produce.
