Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim receives the fighters of Saraya Ashura after their effective contribution in the liberation of Saqlawiyah
Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, chairman of the Supreme Islamic Iraqi Council praised the efforts and the blood that was shed for the liberation of Iraq from ISIS terrorists and most recently, but not lastly, the liberation of Saqlawiyah and Al-Garma, indicating that the Popular Forces from all factions had the prominent role in clearing these areas plus the Iraqi military, police and anti-terrorism units, pointing out that Popular Forces had proved his patriotism and affiliation to each inch of the homeland.
\r\nThis took place during his eminence meeting of fighters of Saraya Ashura who participated in the liberation of Saqlawiyah Sunday, 06/05/2016.
\r\nHis eminence reiterated his rejection to determine limitations for martyrdom to the Popular Forces in the sense that the Popular Forces are allowed to clear the vicinity of Fallujah, but not allow him to conduct assaults against ISIS inside the city, describing this consideration of being unrealistic and illogical, because it is the fighters have the right to sacrifice with his own blood and fight anywhere in Iraq usurped by ISIS terrorists.
\r\nHis Eminence stated that ISIS had ended as a political project, and we are in the phase where we are collecting the fruits of victory, stressing that Fallujah is the round before the decisive battle of liberation of Mosul, valuing the high discipline of the Popular Forces’ members in the battle to liberate Fallujah and level of high humanity they was shown toward the displaced families.
