Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim, chairman of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, expressed his appreciation to Kuwait\'s support for Iraq in fighting ISIS, and Kuwait’s role during the donors\' conference for the reconstruction of cities that are destroyed because of terrorism, noting that Kuwaiti leadership was characterized by knowing the threat of ISIS in early stages, pointing out that this reading reflected on Kuwait’s stands and statements at leadership and media levels and even at the grassroots level.

This took place during his eminence meeting with Kuwaiti media delegation that is on a visit to Iraq Tuesday, 23.08.2016.

His Eminence stressed that Iraq is close to be out of the bottleneck and will come out stronger, indicating that the battle of Mosul is the last confrontation with terrorism on the military aspects, and the Iraqis are extensively preparing for this battle, noting that the military victory does not mean the end of ISIS, but post-Mosul phase requires organizing priorities according to an umbrella project for all political powers, and a security strategy that attend to the upcoming challenge, restitution displaced people to their original areas, and the reconstruction of destroyed cities.

His eminence indicated to the Kuwaiti delegation that Iraq has become immune from terrorism after regaining his people that all had agreed on how terrorism operates in total as a bad presence in Iraq, calling Kuwaiti media to deliver the true image of the reality in Iraq, noting that a number of media channels shows Iraq\'s reality black and tragic, urging everyone to look for their interests with Iraq through the opportunities posed by Iraq for all without exception.
