Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim receives Palestinian Ambassador to Iraq
Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim at his office in Baghdad Saturday 5.11.2016, met with the Palestinian ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Ahmed Aql. Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim and Mr. Ahmed Aql discussed deepening and development of Iraqi-Palestinian relations on all levels.
\r\nSayyid Ammar al-Hakim affirmed that Palestine is the issue, jihad and religion, stressing that the government and people of Iraq support the Palestinian people in defending their usurped rights and are supportive to the Palestinian issue.
\r\nSayyid Ammar al-Hakim reviewed the development of military operations in Nineveh and victories achieved by the Iraqi people including Iraqi forces, the popular mobilization forces, Tribal forces and Peshmerga, noting that \"it is the beginning of the new Iraq actuality”, his eminence also praised the steadfastness of the resistant Palestinian people confronting the Zionist enemy.
