Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, met Chairman of the Jordanian Senate, Mr. Faisal al-Fayez Wednesday, 07/12/2016, the meeting covered the bilateral relations between the two countries and means of relations\' advancement .
\r\nThis took place in the official visit conducted by his eminence to Jordan, accompanied by a delegation of leaders of the National Iraqi Alliance to discuss relations between the two countries and means of developing relations on all levels.
\r\nSayyid Ammar al-Hakim reiterated his calling to neighboring countries, particularly Jordan, to assist Iraq and provide support for the restoration of security and stability in Iraq , and enable Iraq to overcome the difficult conditions faced by all Iraqis, restoring security, peace and stability in the country, pointing out that Jordan is the most understanding of the nature of the political and demographic system in Iraq.
\r\nHead of the National Iraqi Alliance, stressed that Jordan is a supportive and an assistive country to Iraq in the fight against terrorism, and that the Iraqis have high respect for Jordan, there are basic markers to confront Daesh together, stressing that there is a substantial improvement in facing Daesh groups that were occupying 40 percent of the Iraqi soil, and today Iraq is in the final stage to liberate Mosul from the alleged Daesh caliphate reign.
