    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the National Iraqi Alliance to meet elites of the Iraqi community in Jordan

    Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, met elites of the Iraqi community residing in the Kingdom of Jordan Wednesday, 07/12/2016.

    His Eminence talked about his visit to the Kingdom of Jordan, accompanied by a delegation of the National Iraqi Alliance, stating: \"We discussed with Jordanian officials means to develop the relations between Iraq and Jordan in various aspects, and the need to organize roles between the two countries and the countries of the region to counter the threat of terrorism, stressing the existence of convergent interests and common concerns, notably in security and the fight against terrorist factions of Daesh \".

    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim stressed that the Iraqi government is making great efforts to re-open the border between Iraq and Jordan, and completing extending the oil pipeline between the two countries.

    \r\n

    In respect of the ongoing military operations in Ninevah, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim pointed out that the Iraqi military forces achieved military victories and will announce the liberation of Mosul and the elimination of Daesh, explaining that ending the presence of Daesh in Iraq requires military measures and a package of political and service procedures, stressing the need to resettle displaced people and provide services to the liberated areas.

    Head of the National Iraqi Alliance pointed out that the national settlement bill put forward by the National Iraqi Alliance aims to build a state of citizenship and aims to unite the Iraqis under one umbrella, pointing out that the United Nations has welcomed the national settlement bill and asked sponsoring this project.
