General Authority of the National Iraqi Alliance discussing victories and the post-Daesh phase during its regular meeting
General Authority of the National Iraqi Alliance held its regular meeting under the chairmanship of Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim in his eminence\'s office in Baghdad Sunday, 15/01/2017.
\r\nAttendees discussed security developments in Iraq and near end the final militarily confrontation with Daesh, praising the victories achieved by the security forces, popular mobilization forces and tribal forces and Peshmerga in Mosul sector of military operations, and the close resolving of the left coast battle after the liberation of the university of Mosul and reaching to the river bank. The attendees reiterated their visualization to accompany the security progress with a unifying and reassuring political project for everyone.
\r\nthe unity of the National Iraqi Alliance, mechanisms of actions and sustainability of the National Iraqi Alliance institutional work was of the focus points at the meeting, at which participants confirmed the importance of moving forward with institutional action and to activate the emanating committees, the attendees appreciated the efforts conducted to transform the work of the biggest political bloc to an integrated institutional framework, stressing the unity of the National Iraqi Alliance as the biggest partner of the political process and its stability would stabilize the rest of political blocs and the general political situation in Iraq.
