National Iraqi Alliance delegation meets with President of Kurdistan to discuss national settlement and post-victory phase
The National Iraqi Alliance delegation, headed by head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, met with the president of Kurdistan region, Mr. Massoud Barzani, and discussed the national settlement project and the ongoing victories on terrorist Daesh achieved by the security forces including the Iraqi army and the police and the anti-terrorism units, the Peshmerga, popular mobilization forces and tribal forces.
\r\nSayyid Ammar al-Hakim stressed the importance of the national settlement to save Iraq from current crises and allow the Iraqi people to benefit from their wealth and potentials similar to any other countries of the world, indicating that dialogue is the best way that would resolve all unsettled disputes, in accordance with the Constitution as the invoked superior reference.
\r\nSayyid Ammar al-Hakim reiterated that Iraqis should comprehend the nature of the variables surrounding them and the nature of the variables that beset the world, which requires them to show greater unity and cohesion to overcome this stage and conclude it by the victory over Daesh, pointing to the ongoing process of legislating inactive laws that affect the Iraqi state and the structure of its institutions.
