    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim discusses with Egyptian Prime Minister Mr. Sherif Ismail strategic cooperation between Iraq and Egypt

    Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, discussed with the Egyptian Prime Minister Mr. Sherif Ismail the prospects for strategic cooperation between Iraq and Egypt on the security, political and economic levels, as Egypt represents a significant role in the Arab and regional balance, Iraq can offer Egypt and Egyptian companies promising opportunities in energy and investing benefits of the pipeline from Basra to Arish.

    Head of the National Alliance, leading the Alliance’s delegation to Cairo, met with the Egyptian prime minister at the latter’s office, Cairo Thursday 20/4/2017, and reviewed Arab and regional reality and common challenges, particularly terrorism and extremist thoughts, and responsibilities placed on Iraq and Egypt and their religious and political institutions in the face of extremism and Closed mindedness, Iraq is open to all and truly seeks to deepen relations and alerting among the regional and international environment, and in this sense, his eminence stated that Iraqis are reaping the fruits of their patience and close to be crowned by victory, stressing that the national settlement project is comprehensive to all Iraqis and observe interests of all without external interference therefore the only need from the countries of the region and the world is support, because the stability of Iraq stability for all.

    Mr. Sharif expressed Egypt\'s readiness to cooperate with Iraq and build on the great positive relations between the two countries and political and community cooperation, stressing that Egypt was and will remain supportive of Iraq and its security, stability and unity.
