Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim discusses with the Speaker of the Parliament developments of the security and political situation and the post-Daesh phase
Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, in his office in Baghdad received Speaker of the Iraqi House of Representatives Mr. Salim al-Jubouri Saturday 6/5/2017.
\r\nHis eminence with al-Jubouri discussed developments of security and political situation and the security advancement in Mosul the near resolution of the battle and the consequences post-Daesh phase, and stressed Iraq’s need for developmental, economic, political and intellectual solutions to deal with the effects of a Daesh.
\r\nHis eminence explained the significance of 2017 and its similarity to 2003, describing 2017 the year of anchoring democracy, and asked everyone to shoulder their responsibility on political and social levels, and urged the Iraqi House of Representatives to invest the remaining time of the current tenure to pass important laws that directly touch the structure of the state or the service of citizens.
