\r\nNational Iraqi Alliance delegation led by Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, visited the Iranian embassy in Baghdad and expressed congratulations to the Iranian people on the success of the presidential elections and the renewal of the second term of Sheikh Hassan Rowhani.
\r\nThe delegation of the Alliance during his visit to the Iranian Embassy Sunday 28/5/2017, discussed development of security and political situations with Ambassador Masjidi and the senior cadre of the embassy. Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim praised the electoral practice performed by the Iranian people, that affirmed Iranian people adherence to the electoral process of the Islamic Republic, stressing the importance role of the Islamic Republic to combat terrorism in the region as it was the first to support the Iraqi people in the face of Takfiri terrorism.
