The delegation of the National Iraqi Alliance headed by Sayyid Mr. Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Alliance, arrived in Kuwait and met Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Monday 5/6/2017.
\r\nThe National Iraqi Alliance delegation with the Emir of Kuwait discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and combating terrorism. His eminence underlined the importance of concerted efforts of everyone to combat terrorism and calm the situation in the region through constructive dialogue between all sides.
\r\nHis eminence stressed that the national settlement put forward by the Alliance is based on mutual concessions and guarantees mutual assurances, stressed the unity of Iraq and the consolidation of democracy and focus on the post-Daesh phase, and called on Kuwait to support the path of national settlement as an Iraqi product trying to regain the people in the liberated areas from Daesh and resettle displaced families, Iraq Arabism and the return of relations to normal with everyone is an important matter.
