Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim visits families of martyrs and stresses care provision and to honor sacrifices of their families
Head of the National Iraqi Alliance, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, visited a number of martyrs’ families who responded the call of religious authority and martyrs\' families of security services officers, congratulated the families marking Eid al-Adha and appreciated the sacrifices made defending Iraq, the Iraqi people and the holy places of Muslims Sunday 3/9/2017
\r\nHis eminence indicated that the blood of martyrs was the direct reason of Iraq’s and the Iraqi state’s survival, and these sacrifices prevented Iraq from being in chaos and under the control of takfirist, that is not limited to Iraq, but to the region as a whole, pointed out that humanity is indebted to the sacrifices of Iraqis.
\r\nSayyid Ammar al-Hakim called for providing care to martyrs’ families and award them with some privileges in employment, scholarship or treatment travels, stressed that these privileges do not compensate them for what they had lost, but part of the duties of the Iraqi state towards them, and pointed that caring for martyrs’ families is a societal responsibility and not the responsibility of the government only.
