Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim receives the Iranian Ambassador to discuss latest developments in political issues and bilateral relations
Head of the Al-Hikma National Movement, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, in his office in Baghdad received the Iranian Ambassador, HE Iraj Masjedi Monday, 28/10/1919
His eminence with Masjedi discussed bilateral relations between Iraq and Iran and the development of political files in Iraq and the region.
His eminence indicated the importance of the government's response to the legitimate demands of the demonstrators related to services and employment opportunities, praised the efforts made to secure success for the Arba'een pilgrimage and the role of these masses in bringing people together and exchanging ideas and cultures.
Regarding regional aspects, his eminence stressed that the interest of all lies in spreading calm and resort to dialogue, stressing the need to spare the region any clashes as it would impact on regional and international security and the interests of peoples.
