    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), stressed the necessity of speeding up the work of the committees that specialize in carrying out the legitimate demands of the demonstrators according to the constitution. During his reception on Monday, January 21, 2013, at his Baghdad office for Sheikh Majid al-Ali al-Sulayman, head of the Dulaim tribes in Iraq, and the delegation accompanying him, His Eminence explained that he was exerting his utmost efforts to resolve the crisis that has been storming the country and to address the legitimate demands of the Iraqi citizens, calling on the demonstrators to encourage the government to respond to their legitimate demands by appreciating the positive steps undertaken by the committees formed for this purpose.
