Sayyid Ammar al-Haim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), received on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at his private office `allama Sayyid Muhammed Bahrul-Uloom.
The meeting, which was attended by Dr. Ibrahim Bahrul-Uloom, former oil minister, discussed the developments on the political scene and the means to end the current crisis the country is witnessing. There was emphasis on the necessity of resorting to constructive dialogue since it represents the sound way to reach a solution which pleases all sides and puts the interest of the citizen above all other considerations. Both sides also stressed exerting more efforts to bring viewpoints of the political contenders closer to each other and to speed up the addressing of the demonstrators’ legitimate demands.
