Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim visits the shrine of Imam Ali, Imam al-Hussain and Abul-Fadl al-Abbas (as)
Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), has been honored by visiting the shrine of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (as), in al-Najaf al-Ashraf on Thursday, February 14, 2013.
On the same day, His Eminence performed the ziyara ceremonies of both resting places of Imam al-Hussain and Abul-Fadl al-Abbas (as) in Holy Kerbala. His Eminence pleaded to the Almighty to safeguard the Iraqi nation from anything that is abhorred and to sustain His blessing of conviction and stability for it.
His Eminence had on Thursday overseen the wedding ceremony for over 500 young men and women under the auspices of the Foundation of the Martyr of the Niche in al-Najaf al-Ashraf
