    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim welcomes Czech ambassador to Iraq, Alexander Langer

    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), welcomed at his Baghdad office on Tuesday, February 19, 2013, the ambassador of the Czech Republic to Iraq, Mr. Alexander Langer.
    During the meeting, a discussion went on of the bilateral relations between both countries and nations and the means to develop them to serve the interests of Iraq and of the Czech Republic. His Eminence explained that the language of dialogue and understanding is the best to solve the problems in the world and in the region, stressing that the New Iraq is open on all.
    On his part, His Excellency the Czech ambassador expressed his admiration of the visions and suggestions of Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim for solving the region's problems, stressing that there is a great similarity between the viewpoints of His Eminence and that of all moderate forces in the world that aspire to achieve security and peace.
