    During a Visit by the Ambassador of Spain, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Confirms the Care of Iraq for Building Balanced Relations with the Different World Countries


    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim confirmed the care of Iraq for building balanced relations with the different world countries, particularly the participation of the European Union in the process of building and reconstruction of the country.
    This came during a visit paid  by Jose Turpin, the ambassador of Spain to Iraq, to Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, in his office in Baghdad Thursday, August 22, 2013.
    For his part, the Spanish ambassador voiced the support of his country to Iraq in building its democracy experience, stating that his country is fully willing to contribute in the reconstruction of Iraq by carrying out projects in different construction domains.
    During the meeting, both sides discussed the bilateral relations between Iraq and Spain and how to develop them in such a way that serves the interests of both countries in the different domains.
