    In His Meeting with the Sheikhs and Leaders of the Okayl Tribes, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Calls for a Large Participation in the Elections and Choosing the Competent Team

     
    The Head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, stressed on holding the elections on time, calling for a large participation and choosing the competent team able to overcome the crises. This came during his eminence’s meeting with a group of sheikhs and leaders of the Okayl tribes in his office in Baghdad, on Thursday, January 30th, 2014.
    His Eminence explained that Iraq’s merit resides in its diversity, reiterating his support for the army in its fight against terrorism, and added that the approach of unity and containment of others adopted by the Martyr of the Niche stems from the vision of Imam Mohsen Al Hakim (May Allah sanctify his soul) and Imam Sistani (May Allah grant him long life). His Eminence finally underlined the importance of maintaining this approach for it preserves Iraq and its people.
