    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Discusses with the Kuwait’s Ambassador the Successful Parliamentary Elections and the Bilateral Relations between Both Countries


    Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, discussed with the ambassador of the sister state of Kuwait in Iraq, Mr. Ghassan al-Zawawi, the successful parliamentary elections and the relations between Iraq and Kuwait in different areas.
    During the meeting held in his office in Baghdad on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, his Eminence stressed the need to form a national government based on a well-defined national project, a plan of action agreed upon between the Iraqi political powers and a homogenous, strong work team in order to contribute to the rule of the country, maintain security and provide services to the Iraqi citizens.
    For his part, the Kuwait’s ambassador underlined the good relations between both countries and the efforts made to enhance them for the sake of more development in serving both peoples and sister countries.
