Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, met with the speaker of Council of Representatives of Iraq, Mr. Usama al-Nujayfi in the latter's office in Baghdad on Tuesday, May 13, 2014. 
During the meeting, both sides discussed the developments of the political and electoral process. For his part, his Eminence reiterated the importance of a harmonious team armed with clear vision to improve the Iraqi situation, stressing the need to provide services to the citizens and to work by the promises launched in the electoral platforms. He also said the National Alliance started moving towards forming a government that reassures everyone, underlining the importance of that the active parties make concerted efforts to get Iraq out of its crises on the security, economic and service levels.
