Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, stressed the need to turn the national alliance into an active institution, underling the importance of the national alliance’s openness to the national forces that have gained the trust of the Iraqi voters. His eminence indicated that the citizen’s coalition is working hard to form a strong homogeneous team with a clear vision to provide service to the country and citizens.
For his part, Al Maliki highlighted the importance of forming a homogeneous government capable of getting over the past decade at the executive and legislative levels. He also shed light on the significance of agreement within the national alliance and agreement with the remaining Iraqi components in order to advance Iraq. He finally clarified that the past period lacked political stability, which negatively impacted the security and services.
