    Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Stresses the Need to Form a Government Representative of Everyone Within Constitutional Deadlines

    Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, stressed the need to take the necessary measures to form a government where everyone feels represented, within the defined constitutional deadlines. This came when his eminence was receiving the head of the Australian mission in Iraq, Ambassador H.E. Lyndall Jane Sachs, in his office in Baghdad on Sunday, August 3rd, 2014.
    His eminence pointed out that forming such a government will guarantee everyone’s support to the security forces in their war on terrorism. He also discussed with Ambassador Sachs the ways to promote and strengthen the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries in different areas.
    For her part, Ambassador Sachs underlined the Australian government’s continuous support to Iraq in its battle against terrorism and in the areas of development, training and studies in Australia. She indicated as well that she looks forward to building long-lasting relations of cooperation between the two friend countries.
