Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, received at his office in Baghdad on Wednesday, October 1st, 2014, Eng. Abdul Karim al-Anzi, the secretary general of the Islamic Dawa party – Iraq organization and the accompanying delegation. Both sides discussed the political and security situation following the formation of the government led by al-Abadi and the international support for Iraqi against the ISIS. For his part, his Eminence said it's important that everyone contributes to the resolution of the current crisis of Iraq. As for al Anzi, he hoped that the National Coalition takes part since it is the most global and main component that can run the country, ensure its progress and help it overcome the problems and difficulties Iraq currently face, praising the role of his Eminence in bringing the viewpoints of the political parties closer.
