During His Meeting with Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, U.S. Ambassador Expresses his Joy for the Superb Victories Achieved by the Armed Forces and the Popular Crowd Forces Over the Terrorist Gangs of ISIS
Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, received in his office in Baghdad on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, the U.S. Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Stewart Jones.
The two sides discussed the most prominent political and security issues and ways to strengthen the relations between Iraq and the United States, as well as the international efforts made by the international community to support Iraq in its war against the terrorist gangs of ISIS, and the provision of the necessary humanitarian assistance to the displaced.
Ambassador Jones expressed his joy for the victories achieved by the Iraqi armed forces and the popular crowd forces in purifying major regions from terrorist cells.
