Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, stresses the importance of maintaining the peaceful coexistence between all the components of the Iraqi community, praising the victories of the Iraqi military, the security forces and the Peshmerga in forcing the terrorist ISIS organizations out.
This came during a meeting held between his Eminence at his office in Baghdad on Thursday, November 6, 2014, and the Governor of Kirkuk, Mr. Najmaldin Karim.
Both sides have discussed the political and security situations in the country, as well as the situation in Kirkuk governorate.
 
For his part, Mr. Karim explained that his meeting with Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim was fruitful for he has discussed with the latter the political situation as well the situation in Kirkuk, commending the success of the security plans during the commemoration of Ashura and affirming that the security situation in the governorate is very good.
