    During his Meeting with Sheikh Abdul Qadir al-Alloussi, Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Stresses the Importance of the Major Role the Clerics Play to Build Bridges of Brotherhood and Communication between Citizens


        Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, stressed the importance of the major role the clerics and religious figures can play in the country to build bridges of love and communication between the citizens, underlining the need to act in solidarity to fight the enemy targeting them, their religion, their blood, their properties and their land. This came in a meeting held between his Eminence on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at his office in Baghdad, and Sheikh of Sufism, Abdul Qadir Bahjat al-Alloussi. His Eminence said it's the responsibility of all parties to suppress the sectarian division and to preserve the citizens' lives and they must make every effort to achieve this. He also called for uncovering the crimes of the ISIS terrorist groups committed in the name of the religion and the misleading methods they apply in their criminal activities.
