Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, received at his office in Baghdad on Saturday, December 20, 2014, the Minister of Interior, Mr. Mohammed Salem al-Ghaban.
His Eminence stressed the need to ensure security for the Baghdadi citizens and to put an end to the kidnapping gangs phenomenon, as well as the need to take particular measures at the entrances of Baghdad, calling for decreasing the control and for unblocking more roads in such a way to relieve the suffering of the people and make them feel safe. He also talked of the importance of reactivating the intelligence work.
For his part, al-Ghaban informed his Eminence about the preparations of the ministry to take hold of the security file.
