Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim Discusses with the President of the Republic the Political Developments in Iraq and the Region
Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, met the President of the Republic, Dr. Fuad Masum, in the latter's office in Baghdad Wednesday, January 21st, 2015.
His Eminence discussed with the President of the Republic the security and political developments in Iraq, the international coalition support for Iraq against ISIS gangs, and the victories of the security services, popular crowd and Peshmerga. His Eminence stressed the importance that everybody unites for Iraq's success in meeting the challenges it faces on the security level represented by ISIS and terrorist groups, as well as economic level represented by the decline in oil prices.
