Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, stressed the importance of the national card since it cancels the four fundamentals that encumbered the Iraqi citizens, saying the national card is a transition from a monotonous routine case to a stage that reduces the load on the Iraqi citizens’ shoulder, calling for extensively using the information technology for the administration of the security issue and the police since it is considered as a basic element in preparing a solid database.
This came during a meeting held on Saturday, 4/4/2015 between his Eminence at his office and the Minister of Interior, Mr. Mohammed al-Ghaban.
His Eminence praised the role played by the police, especially the federal police, and its sacrifices in terms of the martyrs and injured given in the pivotal battle of Iraq against ISIS, calling for constantly relying on the intelligences and for limiting the obstacles in the departments of the Minister of Interior which are in direct contact with the citizens.
