Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim congratulate the Pope of the Vatican on the occasion of his ascendance of the Papacy and of the Holy See of the Catholic Church
Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), sent on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 a congratulatory telegram to His Holiness Francis I, Pope of the Vatican, on the occasion of his Papal ascendancy and of the Holy See for the Catholic Church.
His Eminence sent His Holiness the warmest and best congratulations, expressing his anticipation that the new Pope of the Vatican will contribute to firming the relations among the followers of creeds, especially the Islamic and Christian creeds, and strengthen dialogue and proximity among faiths on the basis of the common values of tolerance and mutual respect for the Divinely revealed creeds and human dignity.
