Sayyid Al-Hakeem renews call to manage Iraq’s diversity, Christians voluntary return

Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of Al-Hikma National Movement, met with the delegation of the Chaldean League on 4/3/2023 and they discussed the components of reality in Iraq, particularly the Christian component, which we consider to be a qualitative addition to Iraqi society and an integral part of Iraq's rose bouquet.
His Eminence reiterated his call for the voluntary return of Iraqi Christians from all around the world to their country and emphasized the importance of everyone's contribution to the rebuilding and reconstruction of Iraq.
H.E. illustrated that what Christians had to endure was not an exception to what other components had to endure and that terrorism and extremism are not linked to a specific religion or group, but is a deviant human behavior and misinterpretation, reiterating his call to manage diversity in Iraq, illustrating that Diversity management means investing in Iraqi components as bridges of communication with Iraq's surroundings and the countries of the world. H.E. illustrated that the presence of Christians in Iraq is one of the contributions that lead to the historic visit of His Holiness the Pope to Iraq.
