Sayyid Al-Hakeem Urges Granting Local Governments Powers Constitutional, Legal Powers
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers' Alliance, met with the chairman and several Dhi Qar Provincial Council members at our office. His Eminence listened to their views on the province's service and development conditions and emphasized local governments' crucial role in the political system. H.E. also called for local governments to be granted full constitutional and legal powers.
H.E. highlighted the need for collaboration between the provincial council and the governor to serve the province better.
Additionally, H.E. stressed the importance of utilizing Dhi Qar’s economic potential in agriculture, industry, tourism, and the oil sector. H.E. also called for greater attention to be given to districts and sub-districts, and for creating job opportunities for the youth.
