    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Calls for Budget Amendment to Facilitate Iraqi Oil Exports, Boost National Revenue

    Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, head of the National State Powers Alliance, called for voting on an amendment to the budget that would facilitate the export of Iraqi oil and utilize its revenues to enhance the country’s financial resources. His Eminence emphasized the urgent need for Iraq to diversify its revenue streams to meet citizens’ needs.
    During his meeting with Sheikh Ali I’lan Al-Ajam, Skeikh of Al-Kilabiyin tribe, Sayyid Al-Hakeem praised the tribe’s long history of sacrifices and patriotic stances, including their resistance to dictatorship, fight against terrorism, and support for the political system. H.E. also recalled the historical ties between his family and the Kilabiyin tribe, which date back to the time of the late Imam Sayyid Muhsin Al-Hakeem (may his soul be sanctified) and continued through the legacy of Shaheed Al-Mihrab and Aziz Al-Iraq.
    H.E. highlighted the influential role of tribes in Iraqi society, emphasizing their contributions to social cohesion and support. H.E. noted that Iraq has achieved significant progress and is in a phase of building on positive accomplishments. H.E. called for promoting optimism and positivity while moving away from a narrative of pessimism and despair.
