Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Elections Decisive, Support for Upgrading Khan Bani Saad to District to Strengthen Services, Administration
Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers’ Alliance, met on Wednesday morning, October 8, 2025, with a group of sheikhs and dignitaries from Khan Bani Saad Subdistrict.
His Eminence recalled the challenges Iraq had faced, particularly the security and social difficulties, noting that Khan Bani Saad had endured its share of such targeting. H.E. also highlighted the political rivalry Iraq experienced, along with the distortion of facts and spread of misinformation aimed at undermining the political process.
H.E. stated that the previous phase sought to create a public perception of total failure and to question the competence of those in leadership positions.
H.E. stressed that the upcoming elections will be decisive and pivotal amid regional shifts, emphasizing that Iraq has managed to engage with regional developments without becoming entangled in them. H.E. called for safeguarding and building upon the country’s achievements.
H.E. reaffirmed the importance of youth as the foundation of society, and pointed out the role of the Parliament to legislate and monitor the service files with relevant authorities.
H.E. also expressed full support for upgrading Khan Bani Saad from a subdistrict to a district to enhance local services and administrative performance.
