    Sayyid Al-Hakeem: A Stable Iraq Anchors Regional Stability, Calls for Effective Government to Meet Public Expectations

    This morning, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, hosted in his office the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Baghdad, H.E. Mohammad Kazem Al-Sadeq, who conveyed his nation’s congratulations on the successful completion of Iraq’s parliamentary elections.
    His Eminence expressed appreciation for the gesture, underscoring that the recent elections reaffirmed the Iraqi people’s commitment to democratic practice and the peaceful transfer of authority, while demonstrating the state’s ability to manage constitutional milestones with composure and confidence.
    H.E. emphasized the urgency of forming the next government within the constitutional timeframe and stressed the need for a capable, effective cabinet that can meet the Iraqi people’s expectations, address the priorities of the upcoming period, and confront political, economic, and service challenges.
    Sayyid Al-Hakeem further highlighted that Iraq’s stability is a cornerstone of regional stability, pointing to the importance of maintaining internal political, security, and social stability, while broadening constructive engagement with regional and international partners in ways that protect Iraq’s interests and preserve its sovereignty.
