    Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Discusses Bilateral Ties Enhancement, Democratic Path Support, Affirms Time Commitment to Form Government with British Ambassador

    His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, received the United Kingdom’s Ambassador to Iraq, H.E. Irfan Siddiq, in his office this morning. H.E. Siddiq conveyed the British government’s congratulations to Iraq on the success of the recent elections and the clear message they delivered about the Iraqi people’s continued commitment to their democratic path and the peaceful transfer of power.
    Sayyid Al-Hakeem emphasized Iraq’s readiness to engage constructively with its regional and international environment, especially with the permanent members of the United Nations Security Council. H.E. highlighted the importance of strengthening bilateral relations in ways that protect shared interests and uphold Iraq’s sovereignty.
    H.E. Sayyid Al-Hakeem further underscored the need to respect the constitutional deadlines for forming the new government, noting that the coming phase requires prioritizing economic, service, financial, and climate challenges. H.E. stressed that revitalizing productive sectors and diversifying revenue sources remain essential foundations for reinforcing stability and advancing sustainable development.
