Sayyid Al-Hakeem: Broad Participation Reflects Iraqis Awareness, Commitment to Post Elections Stability
Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, received a delegation from Tasmeem Alliance headed by Sheikh A’mir Al-Fayiz, where they reviewed developments in the political landscape following the announcement of the recent parliamentary election results.
Sayyid Al-Hakeem reiterated his appreciation for the electoral process and the high voter turnout, which reaffirmed the Iraqi people’s commitment to the democratic path and their determination to express their will through the ballot box.
His Eminence stressed the importance of forming a government capable of meeting the aspirations of citizens, calling for prioritizing the country’s pressing service and economic needs. H.E. also emphasized the need to preserve the stability achieved and transform it into lasting stability that benefits all provinces.
Additionally, H.E. highlighted the importance of ensuring fairness to Basra and implementing the Basra Economic Capital Law, saying: “Success in Basra represents success for Iraq as a whole.”
