    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Discusses Upcoming Government Formation, Affirms Common Vision, to Finalize Legislative Infrastructure with Al-Halbusi

    His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, welcomed this evening His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Al-Halbousi, Head of Taqaddum Alliance. Where they exchanged congratulations on the success of the parliamentary elections and highlighted the broad, active, and informed participation of the Iraqi people, reflecting their awareness and commitment to the democratic process.
    The meeting emphasized the priority of agreeing on a clear vision and approach before focusing on individuals, and stressed the urgency of forming the next government in line with the current stage’s requirements. Both sides highlighted the importance of turning electoral achievements into actionable programs and ambitious plans that fulfill the aspirations of the Iraqi people.
    The two sides also underlined the need to consider key priorities and challenges, particularly economic, financial, and environmental issues, while supporting policies that promote stability and sustainable development.
    The discussions reaffirmed Iraq’s openness to its regional and international environment in ways that serve its national interests and stressed the necessity of completing the country’s legislative framework by passing laws that complement constitutional provisions still lacking effective legal regulation.
    Finally, the meeting stressed the importance of respecting constitutional deadlines for forming the government and the three presidencies, to strengthen confidence in the democratic process and ensure political stability in Iraq.
