    Sayyid Al-Hakeem Receives Hamoudi: laud Elections Success, Calls to Haste Forming Competent Government Within Constitutional Ceilings

    His Eminence Sayyid Al-Hakeem, Head of the National State Powers Alliance, received this evening in his office His Eminence Sheikh Humam Hamoudi, Head of the Iraqi Islamic Supreme Council. Where they exchanged congratulations on the successful conduct of the recent elections and the positive image they projected of Iraq, reflected through broad, informed, and effective public participation and the people’s continued commitment to the democratic and electoral process and to building on its positives.
    His Eminence commended the number of seats secured by the powers representing Shaheed Al-Mihrab Movement, may Allah sanctify his soul, noting that this outcome affirms the depth of this national project and the breadth of its social and popular presence.
    H.E. urged swift action to form the new government within constitutional deadlines and to choose individuals known for integrity and competence who can effectively address national priorities and challenges. H.E. also underscored the need for a unified national position and for placing the public interest above any factional or personal considerations.
